Interesting fact:

This 15th Century citadel is incredibly high up – it is located at nearly 8000 feet above sea level. It was not found by Spanish conquistadors and escaped the looting that affected other ancient cities. In fact, the site became totally overgrown by jungle and few knew of its existence.
