Prison escapes via helicopter are not just a thing of the movies, some criminals have escaped with a helicopter. France has had more recorder helicopter escape attempts than any other country, with at least 11. One of the most memorable occurred in 1986, when the wife of her bank robber husband learnt how to fly a helicopter just for that occasion!
