Interesting fact:

Early Christians actually adopted the hanging of mistletoe during Christmas from the pagans, who’d been doing so for generations! Kissing under mistletoe also originated in England, where it was expected that the couple in question would kiss and then pick off a berry. This would continue until they were all gone. Sounds like a lot of work, albeit pretty fun work!
