Interesting fact:

Kung Fu Panda was in production for approximately 4.5 years. Every time a scene was finalized in Animation, the animator received one fortune cookie (with a customized fortune inside). Po's full name, Po Ping, translates to "precious peace" in Chinese. Shifu's Chinese name, as shown in the end credits, means "Teacher-Master" ("Shi-fu" in Pinyin transliteration). Shifu is a red panda, but has a lot more white fur than red.
