It was Freddie Mercury who designed the famous Queen crest. A giant phoenix overshadows two lions, a crab and two fairies. They are linked to each of the band members’ star signs: Leo (Deacon and Taylor), Cancer (May) and the two fairies are for Mercury’s Virgo sign. The whole logo looks very reminiscent of the UK’s Royal coat of arms.
