Hedy Lamarr was born in Vienna, Austria and she married six times between 1933 and 1965. She even married her divorce lawyer, although eventually she divorced him too! Lamarr started acting as a teenager, but it was a chance encounter with MGM studio chief Louis B. Mayer that made her a household name.
