Interesting fact:

Casey Kasem, the voice of Shaggy, left the show for five years because he was asked to voice Shaggy in a Burger King commercial. Kasem was a devout vegan and protested, quitting the show shortly thereafter. Five years later, he convinced the show’s producers to convert Shaggy into a vegetarian and returned as the voice of the goofy character!
