Platypuses are quite peculiar egg-laying animals with poisonous glands on their hind legs. Though the sting is not lethal for humans, it is excruciatingly painful. The mammal also doesn’t have a stomach. Food goes directly into the gullet which connects to the intestine. Their bill is made up of thousands of cells which allow them to pick up on electrical fields generated by other living things!
