History has been anything but kind to Richard III. He lost his life at the tender age of 32 and subsequently had his reputation ruined by, among others, Shakespeare. He was literally squeezed in a hastily dug grave which was later the site of an outhouse. In 2012, his remains were finally discovered and reburied.
