Hollywood Adventure

You have arrived in Hollywood. This is going to be the best vacation ever! On Sunset Strip, you notice that the hot dog vendor is Toby Funke, an obscure actor who once played a minor role in your favourite show. He is so happy to have been recognised that he lets you in on a secret: Charlie Chaplin's 1929 Oscar has appeared somewhere in the city, a long-lost prize that is worth millions! Toby's wieners keep him too busy to chase after it himself, but maybe you're up to it. Are you game? Then let's start your big Hollywood adventure!

Everyone knows the iconic Hollywood sign - but did you know that until 1949, it actually read "Hollywoodland"? Originally, the sign was put up as an advertisement for a housing project. It was never planned as a permanent display, but it quickly became very popular. The original sign was replaced by a slightly smaller one in 1978.
